Book Description

This is an in-depth study of the American criminal Gypsy groups. Through police files, newspapers, historical data and interviews with victims, the authors expose the truth about this highly organized multibillion dollar business and tell you how to protect your money from these and other con artists. 299 pages, 2nd printing, soft cover

Author's Note: There are no shortages of books covering the topic of Gypsies. In reading such books you shall discover a similarity in them that is hard to miss. Each author does his or her utmost to avoid any discussion of the crimes committed by Gypsy criminal groups. Those who do address the topic soon become apologists, and even provide such criminal groups with ready made rationalizations for their criminal misdeeds. For whatever reason, none of these authors felt it necessary to interview the victims of these crimes. Instead, they view such people as necessary sacrifices for the greater good.

About the authors: Dennis Marlock spent much of his 31-year career in law enforcement investigating confidence crimes and organized criminal groups, including Gypsies.  Dr. John Dowling is a tenured cultural anthropologist from Marquette University. Approaching the research from two completely different perspectives, both authors arrived at the same conclusion---Gypsy crime exists.  More important--such crimes can be prevented.
